“to bloom, again” is a short experimental film directed by Hanns Scheewe for his experimental film class. With themes on decay and new life, the film called for a delicate treatment that supplemented—rather than overpowered—the film’s solemnity.
Hanns and I went back and forth over this film’s score over the course of a month. I wrote and mastered the audio in Cakewalk by BandLab using VSTs from Spitfire Labs.
